I would like to commend your installers Mile and Steve and your company for a very quick and trouble free installation of the new windows and doors for our home last week.  We had fourteen windows, two doors and a screen door replaced over three days.  We were very happy to see Mike and Steve return to install these windows and doors as they had been here last year to install four other windows.  That experience helped us to decide whether to replace the rest of the windows in our home.  The installers were very courteous and answered all our questions to our satisfaction.  They kept the mess and the inconvenience to a minimum, while installing the windows and doors with a high quality of skill and professionalism. Dear Mr. Bobiak,

Just a short note to tell you that you run a very good ship. We are very happy with our new windows and replacement glass, Triple Pane with Krypton Gas. Every member of your staff that we dealt with was of the highest caliber. Starting with Greg Wedlock in sales, a very informative guy who answered every question we threw at him. Then Bill and Mike, the remeasure guys came and explained the complete installation and recommended a few changes. The windows arrived ahead of time and were installed by Aaron and Matthew who did a fast, clean and neat installation, 100%. Then we came to see Deborah who ordered 15 pieces of Triple - Krypton for our old rear windows to update them, she sure knows her flass and windows, she was a pleasure to deal with. Glen in the warehouse was most helpful and well informed. All calls were returned promptly by everyone which is rare today. Last but not least James. B. capped all the rear ones off to match the new front windows, a real quality job and very clever guy. Over the last 48 years we have dealt with many contractors but your company is surely the best, no wonder you get 1st in the Reader's Choice Awards every year, you certainly deserve it by far. My wife and I dropped into the Showroom of QSI to get information on windows. Mr. James Cook approached us and introduced himself. We told him what we were looking for and he answered every question, he explained how the windows were manufactured. We made an appointment for Mr. Cook to come to our house and give us a quota. He measured all the windows and worked out a price. We were very pleased with the price so Mr. Cook made out a contract. Mr. Cook is a professional in every way, appearance, speech and mannerism. Mr. Cook told us a man named Bill would show up in a couple of days just to re- measure the windows again to make sure all measurements were accurate.

Bill came to the house to re-measure the windows. Bill was another professional and was polite, good appearance and very accurate in his work.

We were notified by the woman representative that the windows were ready and crew would notify us when they would be coming.

We were notified by the crew and they arrived at our home. They introduced themselves, Mike, Jason, Dan and Steve. The crew started to work. The crew was neat in appearance, good manners and very professional in their work. Two crews were sent because of the amount of windows and one was a bay window. It was about six hours and the job was finished. The job was excellent, the windows look great and then came the clean up.

Mike, Jason, Dan and Steve started cleaning up outside and inside. When the clean up was finished you could not tell they were here. They then walked us around the house inside and outside for our approval of the job. We are very pleased with our services from QSI.

I want to inform you about the great experience my family had with your company – and more specifically the people who work for you.
 
Several weeks ago, my wife and I went to your Hamilton location and met Bruce.  He spent a great deal of time explaining your products, and service.  Bruce made himself available, and even offered his home phone number if we had any further questions.
 
Then a fellow came out and measured our windows.  He was the second example of the quality people you have working for you.  Very thorough, and very nice – answering many more questions that we had.

Finally, on installation day(s) two crews arrived on time. Killan, John, Rich and Johnny began removing and replacing the 14 windows in our home.  These guys were great! Methodical, clean, fast and efficient.  They indulged the thousands of questions my 5 yr old had, as well as the several installation questions my wife and I had.  On the second day, Killan and Jonny arrived to install the French doors – having to remove the existing window and then cut out the wall.  On discovering a minor disaster on the foundation they informed me about it and then we went ahead to solve the problem and the result was the French doors we have always wanted looking out into our backyard.

Near the end of the French door install, John and Rich (from the previous day) came by after finishing the project they were on, to see if Killan and Johnny needed help.

This demonstrates to me that you have very well, team oriented people working for you.
 
I hope that you take very good care of them as they present an excellent face for your company!

Salesman Doug Plumb LISTENED to the type of window I wanted and the way I wanted it put in.  We were on the same page right from the start.  The price was right too.
 
The windows were ready 2 or 3 weeks ahead of time.  The 2 installers Keelan & John worked very hard and did an excellent job with no damage to the existing house and with no disruption to our day.  A JOB WELL DONE by 2 professional work men.  A nice clean up too.

We are sending this to inform you of our extreme satisfaction with your product, your QSI Team and your prices.

After several inquiries and presentations regarding replacement of our windows we made a visit to your showroom on Nebo Rd.  There we met with Amanda who showed us around, gave us brochures to look at and set up an appointment with Bruce who totally guided us through the process of best choices at reasonable costs and met with us again at the showroom as I was not sure regarding the tint.  We felt he was very knowledgeable, understanding and trustworthy.  Therefore we chose to invest in QSI products.
 
Then we received a visit from your “measurement specialist”.  Your team of installers came to complete the project September 5th.  Due to commitments we were unable to control, two installer teams were arranged. Rich, John, Mike and Walter were very efficient and professional and worked non-stop to finish in one day.

I’d like to take a moment of your time and let you know that I’m not only thrilled with your product but the installation crew that was sent to my home yesterday.

Don, Rick and Mike arrived earlier than scheduled with smiles and very positive attitudes.  They got right to work and did a fabulous job of installing my 14 new windows. Other than a very short break for lunch they worked continuously all day long in the heat without the slightest sign of slowing down or getting frustrated.  When I commented on how refreshing it was to have such pleasant workers in my home they said it was because they loved their job and were good at it.  I’d have to fully agree with that.  They were very polite and respectful of my home and of me.
 
When the installation was complete I was amazed at how thorough the tidy up was. All windows were washed and the inside and outside of my home was left immaculate! What a delightful surprise not to have to go around and vacuum or clean off fingerprints!

All in all I’d like to say it was an absolute joy to spend the day with these three very professional, yet fun, men.  I suspect QSI is very particular about who they hire to represent the company and it certainly shows well in Dan, Rick and Mike.

So, my hat is off to QSI management for investing in reliable, cheerful, skilled, competent workers.  It seems to me too many companies are only interested in the bottom line.  It’s worth the extra effort when a customer is left with such a positive experience to along with a wonderful product.  Well done!
 
I hope you give these guys a big pat on the back.  In my opinion, after spending almost 9 hours with them, they sure deserve it.

Dear Terry Bobiak,

I am sending you this letter to tell you how pleased I am with your complete replacement of all our windows and patio doors. Both your products and services are top quality.

After the Ultra Gold windows and Hi-Performance patio doors were installed we noticed a huge improvement in our home’s thermal comfort, with no drafts, and ability to sit by a window and actually feel that they are as warm as the walls. The windows and doors are easy to operate that even a small child could open and close the large patio doors.

Your sales person, Doug Plumb, was a pleasure to do business with. He determined our requirements, showed and demonstrated your product, and provided advice without sales pressure. He also followed up to ensure that the pre-sales measuring, ordering and installation were completed to our satisfaction.

Your installation team, led by Ron Shields, was fast, efficient and courteous. Their installation work (brick cut-outs, doors, windows, and exterior and interior trim) was admired by the other trades that were working in the house at the time. They had never seen better window and door installers.

Dear Terry,

Since the installation of our new windows six weeks ago we are just as pleased with them now as we were at the end of installation.  We are amazed at the ease of lifting the windows, the quietness inside the house, and the beauty of the grid work on the upper case windows.  The grid work is eye-catching.
 
Doug Plumb was always available for us while we pondered over the many selections of windows.  His knowledge of our area guided us to maintain the visual integrity of the older area of the city.  The 2 installers worked together as a team. Before they finished the job they made sure the area was clean and tidy.

When we look out the window it appears that we are in a new house.  Many people in the neighbourhood have stopped by to admire the workmanship.  Even a bus driver stopped his bus to find out who did the windows.  We very enthusiastically handed out QSI business cards.

I have finally gotten around to sending a note with some “before and after” pictures of our front window.

We are extremely pleased with the new window and wanted to let you know.  The installation went very smooth and the workers were pleasant.  They arrived and went about their work efficiently and quietly.  When they left, things were completely cleaned up and except for the new window; you would never know they had been there.

We were also impressed with the quality of the wood which was put into the seat and around the window.  It has beautiful grain in it and looks wonderful now it is finished.

The Ultra Gold Krypton windows which you installed in our house have exceeded what you suggested as a sound absorber/silencer.
 
As you know we live on the busiest street in Hamilton and as the traffic has been increasing over the years, so has the noise level in our house.  With the installation of the new windows we cannot hear the cars, light trucks and buses. The only traffic noises we now hear are extremely large trucks and then only when they seem to be shifting gears.
We have been so impressed with the reduction that I have taken some measurements with an ITN Sound Level Meter, model SDL120, S/N 120-93-126212.  Inside the living room the meter never goes above 40 Db (A) even when transports go by. Outside the living room window the meter registers up to 60 Db (A) with car traffic and up to 70 Db (A) plus when transports pass.
 
Quite a spectacular change for us.  Thank you for recommending and installing this type/style.

My wife and I recently had one of your crews install four basement windows and a kitchen window.  We were extremely happy with the product and the installation.

Malcolm, your Crew Chief and his brother did an excellent installation.  The installation started on Friday, June 29, 2001 and completed on Tuesday July 3, 2001.  The crew was very professional and did an outstanding installation. The crew worked until after 9 PM on a holiday weekend and returned Tuesday to complete the job.  Their pride in their work was obvious as was their neatness and the quality work exceeded our expectations.  Malcolm and his brother even offered to complete the job the following day.  We do not know of many trades people today who would stay that late on a holiday weekend or give up their Saturday to complete a job.  My wife was also impressed with the clean up done at the end of each workday, she did not have any cleaning to do after their work was completed.

Please extend our thanks to your crew for a job well done. We will definitely want Malcolm and his brother for any future installations in our home.
